Housing Needs Reviews Caseworker

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Camden to support the appointment of a Housing Needs Reviews Caseworker on a 3-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £28.45 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist the housing needs team in enhancing its services by investigating and responding to inquiries from Members/MPs and formal complaints.
  • To conduct statutory reviews of decisions under the Housing Act 1996, as amended by the Homeless Reduction Act 2017 (both Part VI and Part VII reviews).
  • To maintain direct communication with customers and their elected or other representatives, including lawyers and advocates. Close liaison with officers and managers within the housing needs team is also required to ensure and promote a good understanding of the team's work and services.

  • You should have the right to work in the U.K.
