The Global Head of Regulatory Affairs is a critical role that oversees the development and implementation of regulatory strategies for Gowan's crop protection solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement global regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams to manage regulatory risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D, Development, and Formulations to ensure regulatory alignment
- Represent Gowan's regulatory interests in key regions, including the US EPA, European Union, and Latin America
- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain databases to support and defend Gowan's portfolio and pipeline
- Supervise Global Product Science Leads and Regulatory Managers
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in science or a related field; masters or doctorate preferred
- Extensive experience (at least 15 years) in regulatory affairs with a strong focus on global strategy and multi-year planning in the pesticide industry
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and influence individuals and cross-functional teams
