Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Leader to join our Inpatients Ortho Team at the Princess Grace Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide effective leadership, expertise, advice, and support to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Take responsibility for the running of the ward in the absence of the Ward Manager, ensuring effective rostering of staff and efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care are achieved.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
  • Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse with a strong background in surgical settings, particularly in Orthopaedics/Spinal surgery.
  • Post-graduate certification or diploma in a relevant field, with evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Management skills and leadership training, with experience in budget management.
  • Basic Life Support certification and mentorship/preceptorship experience.
