We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gynae Senior Staff Nurse to join our Inpatient team at The Portland Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality nursing care for patients in the Gynaecology Inpatient ward, working collaboratively with the team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff, ensuring the provision of a high-quality woman-centred surgical service.
- Develop and promote protocols for the care and management of women undergoing surgery, including care within a High Dependency setting.
- Take daily responsibility for ensuring the clinical area operates within management controls, providing consistently high-quality care within given budgets and resources.
- Assist the Ward Sisters in implementing new initiatives within the Women's Health Service and represent the service in their absence.
- Registered Nurse Level 1
- NMC Registration and PREP requirements
- Extensive experience in a UK Hospital setting, with a strong background in Surgical/Gynae environments
- Knowledge of relevant NMC/national guidelines, policies, and procedures
