**Job Overview:**

SMART Education Recruitment is seeking a skilled Sensory-Based Learning Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in sensory-based learning, you will work closely with a pupil with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) to develop their skills and abilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have complex physical and additional needs, and will be able to deliver tailored learning sessions that cater to the pupil's unique needs. Key qualifications include a background in working with pupils with PMLD, ability to adapt teaching strategies, knowledge of sensory-based learning approaches, and excellent communication skills.

This part-time role offers flexible hours based on the pupil's schedule. The successful candidate will be based in Birmingham and will be paid £26.62 per hour.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sensory-based learning plans
  • Delivering highly individualised learning sessions
  • Monitoring and evaluating the pupil's progress
