Role Overview

A creative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant is required to join our SEND schools in Sandwell.

About the Role

We are looking for individuals with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role is perfect for those who can bring energy and innovation to the classroom while supporting students' development in areas such as social skills, independence, and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging, interactive activities that capture students' attention and imagination.
  • Support sensory integration and encourage positive participation in the classroom.
  • Assist teachers in assessing pupils' progress and adapting approaches to meet their needs.
  • Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment in line with the school's ethos and policies.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure continuity in student support.
Requirements
  • A creative background and a passion for working with SEND students.
  • The ability to use artistic, dramatic, or musical skills to create an inspiring and supportive learning environment.
Salary Information

The salary for this role is £88-100 per day, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
