Business Services Officer

As a Business Services Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our services. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to our local Family Court Advisers and Service Managers, ensuring the effective and efficient management and progression of cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor case progression and identify areas for improvement
- Receive referrals from the Court or Cafcass Intake Team and create/update/close cases within our case management system
- Send letters and information packs to service users and follow up on any missing information
- Receive and deal with telephone enquiries and meet and greet visitors, including service users
- Provide general administrative support to the team
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with a relevant qualification in business administration (NVQ2) or significant experience in a similar role. You should be confident and capable of using MS Office applications to a basic/intermediate level and have excellent communication skills. You will thrive in a team environment and be able to prioritize work in a fast-moving environment with strict deadlines.
