About the Role

Secure Your Future as a Relief Security Officer

We're seeking a Relief Security Officer with a valid SIA licence, driving licence, and access to their own vehicle to work 48 hours per week, covering various shifts across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the weighbridge and manage access control to ensure a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular patrols, addressing potential security risks and safeguarding employees and assets.
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV, responding swiftly to any security incidents.
  • Communication Skills: Use your excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and customers, providing top-notch customer service.
  • Customer Service: Handle client and customer interactions professionally, ensuring their needs are met and queries are resolved promptly.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure any equipment provided by the client and Securitas is managed according to established procedures.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain all logbooks and records accurately, issue visitor/contractor passes, and handle lost property in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
  • Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) for efficient reporting and communication.
  • Visitor and contractor access control ensuring smooth site operations.
  • Carrying out other duties reasonably requested from the client or site manager.
Essential Requirements
  • SIA Licence.
  • Right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history.
  • Driving licence and access to own vehicle. (Be able to travel up to 30 miles depending on where you are based)
  • Willingness to learn new skills
