Key Responsibilities

The Credit Control Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of Advinia Care Homes Limited's Accounts Receivable Ledger, overseeing a portfolio with a turnover of £100m and EBITDA of £16m. This includes:

  • Leading debt collection and monitoring efforts
  • Producing detailed reports for the executive team, highlighting monthly financial results and KPIs that measure operational performance
  • Providing monthly reports to Care Home Managers to inform their financial decision-making
  • Improving electronic data feeds between feeder systems and Sage X3 to expedite month-end reporting
  • Managing debt recovery cases and collections from DD, local authorities, and the credit control team
Additional Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also:

  • Provide weekly KPIs to senior management to ensure prompt action is taken when performance is not met
  • Conduct monthly analysis on debt and provide detailed analysis for cash flow and working capital to drive improvements
  • Act as a role model for finance and support continuous improvement
  • Maintain excellent communication and partnership working with the rest of the finance team
