We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Controller to join our client, a leading UK telecoms company, on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in end-to-end credit control and accounts receivable processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure effective credit control and management are in place.
- Oversee credit control for multiple brands with different criteria.
- Identify improvements in debt collection processes.
- Handle customer payments, credit card payments, and manual credits.
- Manage direct debit collections and bounce processing.
- Produce client statements, send reminders, and follow credit control steps up to legal action.
- Contact clients via phone, email, and post for credit matters.
- Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions, and payment plans.
- Provide monthly credit control reports and minimize bad debt risk.
- Review and report on aged debtors.
- Provide monthly ledger reports to senior management.
- Handle ad hoc credit control and accounts receivable (AR) requests.
- Implement and manage a credit checking process.
- Take full responsibility for all credit control and AR matters.
- At least 2 years' previous experience of end-to-end credit control and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience and understanding of legal procedures.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Uphold confidentiality and private matters.
- Excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Salary up to £38,000 per annum.
Monday to Friday.
09:30 - 18:00.
Company holiday package.
Pension scheme.
