About the Role
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Duty Facilities Officer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day supervisory lead contact for facilities actions across various services and roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate waste streams within site, ensuring pro-active removal of waste clinical/non.
- Manage site linen team in department requirements based on a rolling preset par level, maintaining full linen supplies and Trust contingency plan.
- Attend daily IPC site audits and compile reports for adaptation for lead service group meetings.
- Supervise stock/non-stock ordering of service required goods and department stationery, progressing invoices for payment.
- Manage staff uniform requirement process, including procurement/collection and rotation of stock with full audit trail for payment.
- Supervise ID control team and manage Drs student bulk bookings, along with stock procurement.
- Indirectly manage/supervise ID control team and duty facilities officer, progressing growth through key skills framework and training.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. They will be able to work autonomously, escalating issues as necessary and forward plan to avoid delays.
