About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Hays Accounts and Finance. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts receivable and ensuring timely payment from customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Liaise with the sales team to resolve customer queries and issues
  • Raise and chase outstanding payments from customers
  • Input invoices into our accounting system, Xero
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure prompt payment
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies
Requirements
  • Proven experience in credit control and accounts receivable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours, 20 hours per week
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, pro rata
