Exciting Opportunity for a Part Time Supported Housing Officer

Adecco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part Time Supported Housing Officer to join our team in North London. This temporary assignment is ideal for an immediately available candidate who is passionate about supporting vulnerable clients, particularly the elderly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and support residents referred to our services, collaborating with referral agencies as needed
  • Work closely with colleagues and contractors to ensure efficient void management and minimize void loss in our Older Adults Schemes
  • Ensure properties meet health and safety requirements and complete post-letting works as agreed with residents
  • Assist residents with tenancy sign-ups, housing and wellbeing plans, and introductions to their new home and neighbors
  • Help residents maximize income and benefits entitlement, including Housing Benefit and Universal Credit applications
  • Support residents in meeting objectives set out in their housing and wellbeing plans, reviewing plans as required
  • Maintain relationships with specialist agencies and refer or signpost residents as necessary
  • Ensure the security, health, and safety of residents and their homes
  • Collaborate with repairs and neighborhood teams to maintain homes and communal areas
  • Support Tenancy Officers in managing breaches of tenancy
  • Promote resident engagement and participation through organizing relevant meetings and events
