About Us:

At EK Outreach Services, we provide specialist one-to-one teaching for students who face challenges in mainstream school environments. Our team of experienced educators work with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), offering individualised support to meet their unique learning needs.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced History Teacher to deliver tailored lessons to students with diverse needs, including those with SEND. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach and support students who are unable to attend mainstream schooling, helping them engage with Historic studies through accessible and engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver individualised History lessons that cater to the student's academic level and learning objectives.
  • Remain patient and flexible in the approach to learning by adapting lesson content and teaching methods to support students with SEND and other learning challenges.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching History.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
