We are seeking an experienced Electronics Specialist to join our team at Isaac Gracie. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and modifying electrical control systems and enclosures, installing components on backboards, and performing high-quality wiring and soldering to industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical wiring and electronics assembly, with excellent hand skills and attention to detail. They will be able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, and conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure work meets defence and aviation standards.

  • Assemble and modify electrical control systems and enclosures
  • Install components on backboards: din rails, trunking, and electrical components
  • Perform high-quality wiring and soldering to industry standards
  • Interpret complex technical schematics and drawings
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections, ensuring work meets defence and aviation standards
  • Prepare finished products for dispatch
  • Maintain workshop organisation and conduct stock checks
  • Work on diverse electronic equipment: power supply units, microwave amplifiers, and bespoke products
  • Collaborate with engineering
  • Engage in continuous learning and adapt to new technologies
