About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in electrical and electronic design to join our team in Dundee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for our products, including biomass cameras, electric stunning systems, acoustic and electric predator deterrents, and sea lice removal systems.
  • Work with a variety of products, including those designed to improve operational efficiency and animal welfare standards.
  • Provide electrical design support by preparing and checking design documentation, reviews, estimates, and schedules.
Requirements
  • BSc in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in design and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Experience with PLC-based control systems, either in ladder logic or 'C' based environments.
  • Knowledge of 3 Phase supply, distribution systems, cable management systems, earthing, and bonding designs.
  • Excellent PC and MS Office skills, coupled with bespoke programming or design software experience.
  • Able to work in complex project environments with third-party vendors and subcontractors.
  • Experience in data analysis using statistical methodology and presenting technical information effectively.
