Senior Fund Accountant

Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join its well-established Real Estate and Infrastructure Operations Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, management information, financial statements, and VAT and Tax reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review monthly Management Accounts, including analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Income Statement General Ledger items, and complete Net Asset Value computations for communication to investors.
- Produce monthly Management Information, including Liquidity Forecasts.
- Coordinate and control quarterly investor/client communication, ensuring completion within specified timescales.
- Provide tax information to relevant tax specialists and calculate tax accruals.
- Complete the computation, general ledger reconciliation, and online submission of quarterly VAT Returns and payment of sums payable to HMRC (where applicable).
- Analyse loan covenant compliance and provide reporting to lenders (where applicable).
- Aid in the preparation of annual statutory Financial Statements, including supporting documents/workings. Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure audits are planned and executed accordingly and financial statements are distributed to interested parties in accordance with required timescales.
- Aid in the review and implementation of Real Estate acquisition and disposals pipeline.
- Ensure continuous implementation and strict application of accounting standards and operational control.
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the team.
- Part Qualified Accountant - ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
- Management Accounting experience.
- Clear and concise communicator with experience of working with colleagues at all levels.
- Solid financial accounting skills, including ability to analyse and interpret variances.
- Self-starter, deadline-driven, and able to work on own initiative.
- Client Focus driven with proven experience.
