Senior Fund Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, analyzing and reconciling balance sheet and income statement general ledger items, and completing net asset value computations for communication to investors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement general ledger items.
  • Complete net asset value computations for communication to investors.
  • Produce monthly management information, including liquidity forecasts.
  • Coordinate and control quarterly investor/client communication, ensuring completion within specified timescales.
  • Provide tax information to relevant tax specialists and calculate tax accruals.
  • Complete quarterly VAT returns and payment of sums payable to HMRC (where applicable).
  • Analyze loan covenant compliance and provide reporting to lenders (where applicable).
  • Aid in the preparation of annual statutory financial statements, including supporting documents/workings.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure audits are planned and executed accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA and previous background in management accounting and financial accounting.
  • Clear and confident communication skills at all levels.
  • Solid financial accounting skills, including ability to analyze and interpret variances.
  • Driven by success, exceeding deadlines, and enjoy a fast-paced working environment.
