About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our team at Reed. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in the preparation and review of monthly Management Accounts, including the analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Income Statement General Ledger items.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly Management Accounts, including the analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Income Statement General Ledger items.
  • Management Information: Produce monthly Management Information, including Liquidity Forecasts.
  • Investor Communication: Coordinate and control quarterly investor/client communication, ensuring completion within specified timescales.
  • Tax Compliance: Provide tax information to tax specialists and calculate tax accruals.
  • VAT Returns: Complete the computation, general ledger reconciliation, and online submission of quarterly VAT Returns and payment of sums payable to HMRC (where applicable).
  • Loan Covenant Compliance: Analyze loan covenant compliance and provide reporting to lenders (where applicable).
  • Financial Statements: Aid in the preparation of annual statutory Financial Statements, including supporting documents/workings. Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure audits are planned and executed accordingly and financial statements are distributed to interested parties in accordance with required timescales.
  • Real Estate Acquisitions: Aid in the review and implementation of Real Estate acquisition and disposals pipeline.
  • Accounting Standards: Ensure continuous implementation and strict application of accounting standards and operational control.
Requirements
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
  • Previous background in management accounting and financial accounting.
  • Clear and confident communicator at all levels.
  • Solid financial accounting skills, including ability to analyze and interpret variances.
  • Driven by success, exceeding deadlines, and enjoy a fast-paced working environment.
