Administrative Support Officer

The Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our reception team. This role will involve working across two low secure units of the service, providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
This is a full-time post consisting of shifts, including bank holidays. Part-time hours can also be considered. The successful candidate will work alongside other assistant administrators and with the wider Forensic administration team.
Responsibilities will include meeting and greeting visitors, scanning and uploading documentation, maintaining Microsoft Outlook Calendars, and general office duties such as answering the telephone and dealing with queries. Training other team members on key security and administration tasks will also be a key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) or NVQ Level 2/RSA2 (or equivalent). They will also have flexibility around shift patterns, a professional and confident manner during face-to-face and telephone contact, good keyboard skills, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
A salary of approximately £24,000-£26,000 per annum is expected for this role, commensurate with experience.
