About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse on Rollesby Ward, a 10-bedded female PICU in Norwich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to our clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within the ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff in areas related to clinical care, treatment, therapy, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and implement processes to share learning from local and national research and national guidance.
  • Work closely with the clinical care team and relevant departments to utilize information and data to support the implementation and embedding of best practice.
  • Contribute to Quality Improvement projects and initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Ability to problem-solve autonomously and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience of working in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and ability to apply it in practice.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals.
