About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Endoscopy department at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our unit.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Nurse to develop their skills and experience in a specialist environment. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  2. Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  3. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge in endoscopy nursing.
  4. Support the Endoscopy department in achieving its goals and objectives, including quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with:

  1. Current registration with the NMC and evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  2. Experience in an acute hospital environment, preferably in a specialist area such as endoscopy.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  4. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of the Endoscopy department.
