Land Manager - Renewable Energy

We are seeking a skilled Land Manager to join our renewables team at Climate17, a purpose-led international recruitment firm specializing in renewable energy and sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing land agreements to support the development and delivery of high-quality renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage with potential landowners to secure land agreements
  • Undertake initial feasibility assessments and negotiate Heads of Terms
  • Prepare and register land agreements, including leases, options, wayleaves, and letters of authority
  • Manage agents and legal support to conclude land agreements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, stakeholders, and project teams
Requirements
  • Land / Legal / Planning Qualification (degree level as a minimum)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the renewable energy industry, particularly in project management
  • Experience of land assembly, project budgets, and contract preparation
  • Ability to translate technical detail into commercial impact and manage multiple project tasks
