The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of station operations and customer experience delivery across a range of stations, from large to small. They will also have experience in managing stakeholder relationships and conflicting priorities, as well as operational competence in station operational roles such as train dispatch.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with operating company teams to understand their objectives, priorities, opportunities, and constraints.
  • Developing business cases and reports to support customer experience improvement initiatives.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research and innovations in customer experience and station operations.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills, who can work effectively in a team and think strategically and analytically. The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge and experience in the customer experience field, as well as a proven track record of delivering complex projects.

As a Customer Experience Specialist at FirstGroup, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from business development to data analysis, and will be supported in your personal and professional development through training and academic qualifications.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a minimum of 10% contribution to your pension, 25 days holiday plus national bank holidays, and travel offers for Bus and Rail.
