We need empathic, patient staff to provide person-centered support to individuals who are living here.
We want everyone who accesses our services to have the opportunity to live the best life possible. You will be supporting people to work towards outcomes, enabling them to maintain independence.
You will encourage and support people to engage in the local community, clubs, cinema, shows, days out, gym, pub lunches shopping, and activities of our personal choice, they have a real passion for being outdoors.
You will support a community within Wakefield itself, across several services there are long-standing friendships, and you will support to maintain these relationships.
We will be closely working with new partnerships, exciting new prospects, and activities for the entire community to enjoy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered support to individuals with care and support needs
- Enable people to maintain independence and work towards outcomes
- Encourage and support people to engage in the local community and activities of their choice
- Maintain relationships and friendships within the community
- Work closely with new partnerships and initiatives to benefit the community
Requirements
