About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Physiotherapist to join our team at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy care to patients with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy services to patients with complex medical conditions, including those with neurological, musculoskeletal, and respiratory disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • State Registered Physiotherapist with a degree or equivalent diploma in physiotherapy.
  • Extensive post-grad experience, including considerable experience as a senior physiotherapist within a specialty.
  • Highly specialist knowledge of medical conditions relevant to the specialty and their impact on patient functional abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
