Job Title: Advanced Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Physiotherapist to join our Integrated Discharge Team (IDT) as a team lead. The successful candidate will provide leadership and work alongside the IDT team to provide high-quality physiotherapy care to patients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the IDT team in providing physiotherapy care to patients with complex needs.
  • Work autonomously in hospital and community settings to assess, manage, and treat patients.
  • Develop and implement discharge plans to prevent hospital admissions and facilitate timely discharges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Provide education and training to nursing, medical, and physiotherapy staff to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent diploma in physiotherapy.
  • State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience as a senior physiotherapist in a specialty setting.
  • Knowledge of research projects and audit experience.
  • Ability to cope with physical demands of the role.
Working Arrangements:

The service works over 7 days, from 8am to 6pm, with weekend and bank holiday commitments. Flexible working patterns are available to cover a 7-day service.
