About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Physiotherapist in our trust, you will be working with a highly complex patient group, providing high-quality care and support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy care to patients with complex medical conditions, including those with rare and neurological disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Conduct assessments and provide treatment plans for patients in clinics and on the day units, as applicable.
  • Offer advisory services to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, promoting optimal patient outcomes and rehabilitation.
  • Develop and provide specialist education and training to nursing, medical, and physiotherapy staff, enhancing their knowledge and skills in tertiary and secondary care.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • State Registered with Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and relevant post-graduate courses to MSc level.
  • Full valid UK driving licence.
