We are a well-established GP practice in Hill Top, West Bromwich, serving a patient population of 3700. We are committed to providing high-quality patient-centered care and are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic salaried GP to join our growing multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a GP who shares our values of delivering excellent patient care. The successful candidate will work 6 sessions per week over 3 days, with a mix of telephone, video, and face-to-face appointments, as well as home visits. The role involves triaging and treating patients, making referrals to other healthcare professionals, and adhering to our prescribing formulary.

Main Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat patients, using diagnostic skills and initiating investigations as necessary
  • Triage and treat patients wishing to see a healthcare professional, making referrals to other members of the primary healthcare team
  • Provide preventative health care advice and adhere to our prescribing formulary
  • Work autonomously, caring for patients and their families, and ensuring that personal and professional standards are maintained
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients, ensuring that effective service delivery is maintained

Person Specification

  • Essential:
    • Medical Degree
    • MRCGP
    • Full GMC Registration and inclusion on the performance list
    • Medical Indemnity Insurance
  • Desirable:
    • Driving Licence and use of own car
    • Knowledge of QOF & PCCF
    • Use of System one clinical system

About the Role

We have an established team of 4 GP Partners, 2 GPs, 1 HCA, 1 Practice Nurse, 1 Pharmacist, and working in collaboration with the PCN as part of the ARRS roles, we have 1 Paramedic, 2 Pharmacy Technicians, 1 Primary Care Mental Health Nurse, and 1 Social Prescriber. We have an excellent working environment with supportive GP's and Nurse. We use System One and Accurx. We have onsite parking. Our Home visit request is low. We work well within our PCN (Together 4 Health) and you will be expected to contribute to extended hours on a rota basis.
