Job Summary

We are looking for a GP who shares our values of offering high-quality patient-centered care. The successful candidate will work 6 sessions per week over 3 days, with a mix of telephone, video, and face-to-face appointments, as well as home visits.

Main Duties

  • Triage and treat patients wishing to see a healthcare professional, making necessary referrals to other members of the primary healthcare team and secondary care.
  • Adhere to the practice prescribing formulary.
  • Participate in the audit process, evaluation, and implementing plans and practice change to meet patient needs.
  • Contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and work colleagues.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner, caring for patients and their families within the surgery and community. They will be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Person Specification

  • Essential:
    • Medical Degree
    • MRCGP
    • Full GMC Registration and inclusion on the performance list
    • Medical Indemnity Insurance
  • Desirable:
    • Driving Licence and use of own car
    • Knowledge of QOF & PCCF
    • Use of System one clinical system
