Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Practitioner to join our team at New Street Surgery. As an Apprentice Family Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Patients: Conduct thorough medical examinations, diagnose and treat patients, and make referrals to other members of the primary healthcare team as necessary.
  • Provide Preventative Health Care: Offer advice on general health care and minor ailments, and refer patients to other members of the primary and secondary healthcare team as required.
  • Work Autonomously: Work independently as an autonomous practitioner, caring for patients and their families in the surgery and within communities.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate, contemporaneous healthcare records appropriate to the consultation.
  • Participate in Audit and Quality Improvement: Participate in the audit process, evaluation, and implementation of plans and practice change to meet patient needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work autonomously. You will also need to be committed to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
