  • Ensure data architecture supports data governance, quality, and security standards.
  • Define and implement data management frameworks and operating models, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Perform enterprise strategy refinement alongside business process analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements Target Business Enterprise Architecture and data integration.
  • Work closely with business units to identify data needs and ensure alignment with data architecture.
  • Define and oversee the data operating model to ensure efficient data management practices.
  • Facilitate data integration across various systems using Azure tools and practices.
  • Implement and manage the Purview Data Catalogue to ensure effective data discovery and metadata management.
  • Promote best practices in data management and governance across the organisation.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of data architecture to ensure it meets evolving business needs.
  • Support strategic planning by providing insight and recommendations to reduce total cost of ownership and key technology risks
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant computing, mathematics, or business-related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Extensive experience in data architecture, with a strong focus on business alignment and conceptual data modelling.
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures and modern tech stacks, particularly Azure.
  • Proficiency in functional decomposition and business process analysis.
  • Proficiency in BPMN diagramming.
  • Advanced proficiency in creating and managing conceptual data models.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
