Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Oxfordshire

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a small, 'Outstanding' Primary School in Oxford.

This long-term position requires someone who can work effectively as part of the school's team to ensure the child's involvement in all lessons and activities. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with ASD and possess excellent communication skills.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children with Autism and ABA therapy. This role involves providing consistent support to the child during all lessons and ensuring their active participation in wider school life.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience working with children with Autism and ABA therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A graduate-level qualification or equivalent

Working Arrangements

This role offers a competitive daily rate of £85-£90 per day. You will be required to work on a long-term basis, initially until the end of the academic year (July 2025), with potential for permanent placement.
