SSA Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Commissioning Manager to oversee the commissioning process across projects commercially and domestically. The successful candidate will report to the Q&C Manager and the Managing Director, taking full responsibility for the daily management of all M&E commissioning activities on projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage specialist subcontractors to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities.
- Provide consistent reporting and recording of meetings, utilizing strong computer skills to track progress.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and other representatives, promoting the company's reputation and ethics.
- Review and approve concise commissioning method statements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Supervise on-site testing and report on results to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Advise on the quality of M&E installations during the installation phase, ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Establish connections with utility companies to facilitate commissioning activities.
- Manage the treatment of water systems to ensure they are commissioned correctly.
- Monitor and advise on the design of services linked to specific disciplines, ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Foster positive relationships among staff and professional team members, including the line manager.
- Manage trade contractors' obligations to commission and deliver specific services, linked to the scope of works.
- Must hold an industry-recognized qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/installation.
- Desirable: 3+ years of experience as a commissioning manager, with experience in commissioning domestic/commercial systems.
- Strong project management experience, with the ability to track progress and deliver results.
- Flexible with excellent team working skills, and good computer software skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
