Commissioning Manager
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Manager to join our team. As a Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for managing and driving the commissioning process, leading on-site functional testing, and ensuring that all plant and systems are fully commissioned and inspected in line with contract specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the commissioning process with contractors and professional teams, ensuring effective communication and compliance with project processes.
- Implement and manage quality assurance and quality control procedures throughout the commissioning process.
- Issue weekly commissioning reports and manage commissioning documentation.
- Coordinate and review commissioning procedures, RAMS, and commissioning data against design parameters.
- Provide input to project risk registers and coordinate training with the project team.
- Organize and chair commissioning meetings, ensuring actions are issued, managed, and closed out.
- Review and assist subcontractors in developing project-related QA/QC documentation.
- Write test scripts and integrated systems test scripts, and coordinate input from all parties.
- Witness on-site functional testing of plant, equipment, and systems.
- Ensure all commissioning handover documentation is reviewed and approved prior to handover.
- Communicate and resolve commissioning defects.
- Create and manage handover commissioning checklists and close-out reports.
- Technical engineering excellence in Mechanical, Electrical, or BMS engineering.
- Excellent IT, planning, and reporting skills.
- Proactive and problem-solving nature.
- Good communication and team player skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
