Support Worker for Adults with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team, working with adults who have learning disabilities. Your primary goal will be to empower individuals to lead independent lives.
As a Support Worker, you will provide therapeutic care and support to patients with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs. This includes observing, monitoring, and keeping records of patient conditions, while treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
You will be part of a multi-professional team supporting residents through a care pathway, enabling them to live as independently as possible. A driver's license is essential, as you will be required to transport residents to activities or hobbies in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities
- Assist residents with daily tasks and personal care
- Maintain accurate records of patient conditions and progress
- Develop and implement personalized care plans
- A minimum of 6 months' experience in a social care setting
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
- Ability to drive and access to a vehicle
