The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Visual Effects Production Manager to become a vital part of our Film division. In this role, you will oversee the visual effects production for film and episodic ventures. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients, artists, and production teams to guarantee the successful execution of high-quality visual effects.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Managing the complete VFX production workflow from initial concept to final delivery
  • Engaging with clients to understand their vision and requirements
  • Coordinating with artists and production teams to develop outstanding visual effects
  • Ensuring timely project completion within budget constraints
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments to refine production methodologies
  • Communicating with clients regarding project specifics such as proposals, updates, and approvals
  • Overseeing project timelines and deliverables in alignment with schedules
  • Monitoring team performance and productivity in collaboration with team leaders
  • Providing consistent progress updates to clients, management, and internal stakeholders
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Visual Effects Production Manager in the film sector
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in client and crew relations
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Experience managing substantial budgets
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure in dynamic environments
  • Collaborative team player with robust project management abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of VFX production workflows
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Established network of industry contacts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with VFX software such as Maya, Nuke, or Houdini
