The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Visual Effects Production Manager to become a vital part of our Film division. In this role, you will oversee the management of visual effects production for both film and episodic projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients, artists, and production teams to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality visual effects.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Managing the complete VFX production workflow from inception to final output
  • Engaging with clients to understand their vision and requirements
  • Coordinating with artists and production teams to deliver outstanding visual effects
  • Ensuring timely project completion within budget constraints
  • Keeping abreast of industry advancements to improve production methodologies
  • Communicating with clients regarding project specifics such as proposals, updates, and approvals
  • Overseeing project timelines and deliverables
  • Monitoring team performance and productivity in collaboration with team leaders
  • Providing regular updates on project progress to clients, management, and internal stakeholders
Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Visual Effects Production Manager in the film sector
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in client and team management
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience managing substantial budgets
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure in dynamic environments
  • Collaborative team player with robust project management skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of VFX production workflows
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Established network of industry contacts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with VFX software such as Maya, Nuke, or Houdini
