About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled District Manager Enterprise Sales to join our team at NetApp. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for managing sales activities within a defined district and developing long-term strategies to meet aggressive revenue goals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years and experience working with Channel/Sales organizations and technical teams. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience, is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales activities within a defined district to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment.
  • Develop and implement forecasts, marketing program development, relationship development, and customer satisfaction plans.
  • Establish short-term and long-term goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives.
  • Identify needed resources for supporting sales strategy and develop a proposed budget for Senior Management review.
  • Anticipate challenges in reaching set goals and develop contingency plans.

This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills, as well as strong relationship building and negotiating skills. Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques is also essential.
