Job Summary

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Leisure Centre Swim Teacher. As a Swim Instructor Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced swim instructors in teaching swimming skills to children and adults. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool users.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about swimming and has excellent communication skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of up to £12.96 per hour, plus a range of benefits including discounted staff membership, incremental holidays, and access to our Employee Assistance Programme.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities
  • Work closely with experienced swim instructors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool users
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
