Poolside Helper

**Main Purpose of the Post**

To act as receptionist and pool helper at pool venues that require an additional person to the teacher from both a security and customer support point of view.

**Responsibilities**
- Meet & Greets - at the start of each term you will be responsible for meeting and greeting new beginners, checking all clients have Happy Nappy and correct double nappy system, showing them where to change and facilities available to them in the venue.
- Register Check - tick off those attending each class on the class register every week.
- Cleaning duties - as per pool requirements cleaning of pool surrounds and changing rooms to include (as required) emptying of bins, mopping floors, picking up rubbish from the changing room floors, ensuring passageways are clear of obstruction and wet surfaces are dried.
- Pool Testing - Where responsible for this, ensure that this is done safely and within the pool procedures.
- Pool covers - where responsible for this, removal and replacement of pool covers if required within the pool procedures.

Part-time hours: 6.5 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
