Job Overview

Main Responsibilities

As an IT Service Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and effective support to our staff and patients. Your duties will include troubleshooting IT issues, managing IT projects, and communicating effectively with internal and external personnel. You will also attend regular review meetings with your supervisor and assessor to ensure you are meeting the requirements of your apprenticeship contract.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of five GCSEs (Grades A-C), including Maths and English. You should also have knowledge of Microsoft Packages and good communication skills. Experience working as part of a team and customer service experience would be desirable. Additionally, you will need to be self-motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for working in IT. An understanding of local area networks and wide area networks, server technologies, and ICT security technologies would be beneficial but not essential.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately £23,500 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you will receive a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
