As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical site and its operation meet the highest standards of food safety and quality, while consistently meeting customer and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and lead the implementation of new technologies across the site to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve site operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of site staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of site objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline, or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated clear leadership skills and experience in previous roles, with a proven track record of strategic planning and team management.
- Minimum of 3 years experience of successfully managing people and teams.
- Quality management experience and a working knowledge of BRC standard, HACCP, and food legislation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Team leadership qualities, initiative, self-motivation, and a logical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of food industry standards and regulations.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in a management or leadership role.
- Excellent communicator with a passion for achieving targets and objectives.
