Key Job Duties

As a Project Support Officer at NIHR, your core responsibilities will include:

Providing dedicated workstream support for the One NIHR Theme 2 Business Process Standardisation Workstream and Standard Application Workstream

Coordinating virtual meetings using leading industry platforms

Preparing accurate meeting materials, including agendas and presentations

Recording and distributing meeting minutes to relevant parties

Managing and maintaining online documentation and records

Handling inquiries and escalating issues to relevant colleagues when necessary

Taking initiative to suggest process improvements and implementing changes where feasible

Completing other administrative tasks as assigned by the Business Transformation Team

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in an administrative or project support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana, or Jira
  • Brief knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
