Electrical Engineer Industrial Placement Opportunity

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Magnet Power Supplies (MPS) Group for a 12-month industrial placement. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the development of design capability for pulsed power supplies, working on high-voltage systems and bespoke equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Gather requirements and model power supply sub-systems
- Prototype and test power supplies, reporting results
- Collaborate with the team to develop design capability
- Currently enrolled on an undergraduate degree course
- Returning to university to complete degree after placement
- Right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the placement
- Able to commence employment in summer 2025
- Demonstrate understanding of electrical/electronic circuits
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
