About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Chief Operating Officer. The successful candidate will have significant experience in a large NHS organisation, with a proven track record of operational leadership and strategic planning.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of health services in the region and be part of an organisation dedicated to improving outcomes for the Cumbrian population. You will work closely with our Clinical Collaboratives to ensure that they are aligned with our strategic objectives and are delivering safe, effective, and efficient care.

You will be responsible for implementing our Performance and Assurance Framework, leading demand and capacity modelling, and providing expert operational advice to the Trust Board. In addition, you will develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and healthcare partners at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert operational advice to the Trust Board
  • Ensure safe, effective, and efficient care is delivered through our Clinical Collaboratives
