As an Aseptic Care Professional, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of aseptic services within the trust.

Job Description

  • Provide check and final release of aseptic products, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Contribute to the effective management of resources related to aseptic dispensing.
  • Supervise and train staff and students from various disciplines in the specialty.
  • Maintain the highest levels of professional and technical standards in aseptic preparation and dispensing.

Requirements

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Postgraduate diploma or masters degree in a relevant field.
  • Member of a professional body (e.g., Royal Pharmaceutical Society).
  • Experience in initiating audit work, presenting data, and clinical verification of prescriptions.
