Job Opportunity:
Mountain Healthcare Limited is seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team as a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional. This exciting opportunity allows qualified Nurses or Paramedics with 3+ years of post-qualification experience to work in a dynamic and lively environment, providing high-level care to detainees and their needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with the police, receiving training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner. Our dedicated healthcare professionals are fully trained to collect forensic samples, which can assist the police with their investigations.

This role offers a unique chance to make a remarkable, positive, and life-long difference to people's lives while promoting good personal healthcare and working with Liaison and Diversion to identify mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forensic sampling (including road traffic offence bloods)
  • Signposting and conducting referrals; offering support for vulnerabilities and supporting patients to break patterns of re-offending
  • Delivering substance misuse therapies
  • Assessment & care of detainees and staff in custody suites
  • Acute disease management
