About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Systems Engineer to join our team at D-Orbit. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of spacecraft systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop spacecraft systems, including power, communication, and propulsion systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system-level integration and testing.
  • Develop and maintain system-level requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source and procure flight parts and technologies.
  • Support the development of test plans, procedures, and setup definitions.
  • Author technical documents and reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in spacecraft design and development.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and spacecraft subsystems.
  • Experience with data busses architectures and Matlab/Python programming.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of mission analysis tools (GMAT/orekit).
  • Experience in space transportation and servicing applications.
  • Knowledge of Linux and ECSS/NASA standards.
