Digital Marketing Strategist for Lifecycle CRM Campaigns

We are seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Strategist to join our eBay Inhouse team at DEPT. As a key member of the global Lifecycle Marketing Team, you will create and execute customer-facing Lifecycle Marketing (CRM) campaigns to support eBay's strategic categories globally.

Role Overview

This role involves adopting a customer-centric approach while working cross-functionally to develop, implement, and track the performance of recurring, trigger-based lifecycle marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will drive adoption, engagement, and retention within strategic categories on eBay by building and launching personalized customer experiences globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality creative assets, including briefs and feedback rounds, in collaboration with internal/agency Creative teams, Legal, Privacy & Customer Service teams.
  • Support audience segmentation and targeting efforts with the Team Lead, Analytics, Database Marketing (DBM), and Product Marketing teams.
  • Ensure seamless execution and launch of customer-facing campaigns as owner of operational execution, working with Campaign Planning & Operations Teams on building, experimentation, and deployment of marketing campaigns.
  • Own project timeline, tracking campaign development and keeping relevant stakeholders informed.
  • Achieve data-driven hypotheses through innovative and iterative mindset, supporting A/B testing and ongoing optimization of campaigns based on learnings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within CRM and owned channels (emails, onsite, push notifications, in-app messaging, etc.).
  • Past experience or a working understanding of e-commerce, marketplaces, and online retail marketing.
  • Customer-centric and hands-on individual, demonstrating ability to manage performance against established KPIs.
  • Project management experience with strong sense of accountability.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
